Our airmails have been restricted to one a week, so you’ll have to expect this damn V-Mail I guess. Nothing much is happening here–we are really resting. I think the Marine Corps is cracking up. Almost no training–the officers have a lot of organizational work to do, but luckily the men can spend their time on athletics and fixing up their tents. It won’t last long–it can’t. I’m getting some reading done, but mostly sleeping, as the lights still aren’t working, and the nights are long and quiet.
Your letters are coming through pretty regularly Mother–you have no idea how much I appreciate them. Gretch dear yours are always wonderful. It certainly was a big relief to hear you got mine from Namur. I know how you must have worried.
